The College of Nursing at Auburn University, located in Auburn, Alabama, invites applications for a full-time on campus 12-month, tenure track faculty position. Candidates with expertise in the area of Medical Surgical, Maternal Health, or Mental Health are sought to teach our highly qualified student body.   Auburn University is one of the nation's premier land, sea, and space grant institutions. We offer graduate programs with Primary Care Practitioner, Nurse Educator certificate, and DNP options. The baccalaureate degree program in nursing, master's degree program in nursing, Doctor of Nursing Practice program, and post-graduate APRN certificate program at Auburn University are accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education. http://www.ccneaccreditation.org/   Minimum Qualifications for Tenure Track: Candidates must have an earned research doctorate (Ph.D. or equivalent) in a relevant discipline and a graduate degree in nursing with specialty preparation in the area of Medical Surgical, Maternal Health, or Mental Health at the time employment begins.  Desired Qualifications: Baccalaureate, graduate, and online teaching experience in nursing and evidence of interdisciplinary collaboration and scholarly productivity.   Candidates must be eligible for Alabama RN license, must meet eligibility requirements for work in the United States at the time the appointment is scheduled to begin and continue working legally for the proposed term of employment; must have excellent written and interpersonal communication skills.   Review of applicants will begin October 4, 2022 and will continue until the position is filled.
